When fire tore through Robbins Lumber in Searsmont, the victims and their families were left facing a long road of recovery — for some, a healing time of two to three years.
The Firefighter Foundation stepped in right away. We met with families still in the hospital and delivered t-shirts and gas cards to help with the everyday costs that don’t stop during recovery. The community rallied behind the Searsmont Strong campaign, with shirt sales, gift card drives, and donations at First National Bank branches across Maine.
We continue to raise money for the Robbins Lumber fire victims. They will have many needs when they get home, and the Firefighter Foundation is making sure these victims get what’s raised. Please keep donating, and please share our page so no one misses out on future fundraising.
